Would you like to have fun around the T-Rex in Bali?

Yes, you read it right, there’s a T-rex and no it’s not a skeleton in a museum. It’s vibrant, beautiful and you’ll always find it on the Kelingking beach in Bali. If you haven’t guessed it already, allow us to break it down for you. It’s a cliff. Yes, wait, before you go back, we just want to say that it’s a place you wouldn’t want to miss. Read along, it’ll just take a couple of minutes.

You know how they say ‘travel till you get old’, you wouldn’t want to leave Bali, once you get there. Bali’s beauty needs no introduction and neither does the T-rex cliff. Almost every travel page on Instagram has a picture of the T-rex cliff and it makes all of us want to visit the place. But don’t you want to know how easily you can get there and the things to do around the cliff?

Before we get to the good part, here’s a tip: Book your Bali tour packages with Ineedtrip, they have some mind blowing packages and deals, you can even customize your own package.

How to get there?

Easy-peasy. First get to Bali, take out a day to visit the Nusa Penida Island in Bali. Take a taxi to the Sanur Beach where you’ll find ferries and speedboats waiting for you. Hop on to one and voila! You will arrive at Nusa Penida within an hour or 3 depending upon the medium you choose. Once you step on the island, rent a bike for the day and hit the Kelingking beach.

What to do?

Let’s start with the obvious, take pictures, a lot! You might not believe it but you’ll often find a line to get a picture clicked from the higher ground. Glad you asked., accessing the cliff is not for the faint hearted you see, it’s quite adventurous. Coming to the second thing of what to do, hike down the beach. It’s a challenging, adventurous and fun hike down the Kelingking beach. You’ll be walking over the neck of the T-rex and hiking down a steep path with little to no support from the bamboo railings.

After enjoying the dangerous yet fun hike down the t-rex in Bali, get some rest, and then hit the beach. Since the hike is dangerous you’ll find very few people at the beach. The pristine white sand and the turquoise blue waters will make you stay there forever. Next fun thing? Go for a swim. The water current at the Kelingking beach is usually high, so if you’re an expert swimmer you’ll love the challenging waves and the cool water.

You’ll find many caves on the beach, once you’re done with swimming in the blue waters, you can rest in the caves, have a snack and gaze upon the marvelous design of the cliff and the beach.

Get back on the top before sunset and sit around the body of the T-rex to witness a mesmerizing sunset. It’s a view you wouldn’t want to miss. If you want to read more about it. visit our blog on the t-rex cliff in Bali.
